Impaired Driver Education Program -
Danbury & New Milford

 

MCCA is contracted with the Connecticut State Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (CT DMHAS) to provide an Impaired Driver Education Program. DWI offenders arrested for the first time in a ten-year period are referred to us from the courts. Our programs are offered in both English and Spanish. We provide alcohol education to those individuals who have been arrested for driving while intoxicated in Connecticut or out of state and must get their alcohol education needs met for those arrests to regain their driving privileges.

Upon referral each participant is given an initial evaluation and subsequently placed into a 10 or 15 week class. Each group meets for 90 minutes per week.
