McDonough House
McDonough House is a 20 bed substance abuse treatment facility.
At MCCA we believe that alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable illnesses and that those affected, including family members can recover. Our treatment philosophy is goal-oriented for the entire continuum of services from interventions through relapse prevention. All of MCCA's programs are targeted to produce positive outcomes for the identified patient and family members.
Our professional staff consists of a Director of Clinical Operations, Program Director and numerous counselor and monitors all working toward one goal.... helping our clients overcome addictions.
Clients participating in the Intensive Program at McDonough House will follow an individualized treatment plan with their primary counselor. Attendance to individual and grouped therapy sessions are mandatory.

- Other continuing care services are available at MCCA's outpatient facilities ; Danbury, Middlebury, New Milford or Ridgefield
Seniors Programs
- Residential treatment at no cost to client
- Special attention paid to senior issues
- Senior groups
- Continuing care planning
Fees
At MCCA we participate in many managed care plans, and we also accept traditional insurance. Many plans require that you make a co-payment at the time of your visit. To make it easy as possible for you, we accept cash, checks and most major credit cards. Some insurance plans may require that you obtain authorization from them before you visit us. Since this differs by plan, please check with your insurance company so you may receive complete benefits from your coverage.
MCCA also participates in the General Assistance Behavioral Health Program.
Your counselor can help manage your insurance plan and any payments you may need to make.
