The Sobering Center

At MCCA we believe that alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable illnesses and that those effected, including family members, can recover. Our treatment philosophy is goal-oriented for the entire continuum of services from interventions through relapse prevention. All of MCCA’s programs are targeted to produce positive outcomes for the identified patient and family member.

Program Description

The Sobering Center is a short-term, therapeutic Social Setting Detoxification Program for the chemically dependent, co-occurring, homeless individual in need of care in preparation for treatment.

Our goal is to provide a safe, substance free, non-medical respite for the chemically dependent individual upon waiting to be referred and placed into the next appropriate continuum of care.
